Practice week:
Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd
Each team will be assigned a one-hour practice session on one of the two designated practice days. During this session, you and your fellow paddlers will learn the basics of dragon boat technique and prepare you for race day.
May 4th timeline:
Please note: this timeline may shift due to weather and race flow.
7:00 AM: TTi Tent Village Opens
8:00 AM: Captain Meeting in the Agora
8:30 AM: Festival commences with the national anthem.
9:15 AM: First race heat starts till 10:45 AM
10:45 AM: Tent Decorating and Food Contest judging begins.
11:15 AM: Mission Moment Parade & Ceremony. Winners of the Tent Decorating and Food Contest will be announced.
12:00 PM: Second race heat begins
1:15 PM: Race finals for the top-ranked teams based on overall time.
1:45 PM: Awards ceremony and event conclusion.
