Team Training Information

Why should I attend?

This year we are holding three different training opportunities: one geared towards new teams, Dragon Boat 101, one training geared toward returning teams, Dragon Boat 2.0, to help you strategize how to take your fundraising to the next level, and a final late session to match the needs of the teams needing a training. During each of our team trainings, you will learn about the new fundraising tools that are available, hear from other teams, brainstorm fundraising ideas, and you will have an opportunity to meet other team captains and participants.

NOTE: this year it is a requirement that every team have a representative attend one of the three training sessions or to make arrangements with Amanda Lenar for a one-on-one training meeting. Teams that do not follow this requirement will not be allowed to race on the water on Saturday, May 6.
